Macromedia Flash Intro Sites
Caption
Cinematic 3D web experiences with glossy buttons and mandatory intro sequences.
Historical Impact
Macromedia Flash 4, 5, and MX powered the era's most ambitious web pages — full-screen intro animations, beveled 3D navigation, and portfolio sites that behaved like interactive CD-ROMs. Agencies treated the browser as a canvas for textured chrome that CSS alone could not yet replicate.
