Microsoft Copilot Sidebar
Caption
Context-aware AI side panel that dynamically adapts its prompts, action suggestions, and output format based on the active document, spreadsheet, or workspace view.
Historical Impact
Copilot's Office/Edge sidebar binds prompts and action chips to the active document state — Word, Excel, or Teams — so suggestions and output format adapt to what the user is editing rather than offering a generic chat pane.
